Do you make the best scone in Devon? Devon's Scone Crazy!

Our next project promises to be a very tasty one! We are taking part in a Devon wide Scone making competition, being supported by the BBC Radio Devon .  You may have heard us on the John Govier show on Saturday 20th April with a host of other independent cafe owners from Devon, launching Scone Off 2013.  This promises to be great fun.  Now we are on the hunt to find the best scone in Devon, and will be hosting the Exeter heat of the County Wide competition in the Exeter Guildhall Shopping Centre on the 25th May 2013.

 

Organic Tea - by Tea's Me

We are delighted to say that we now stocking an organic tea hand blended in sunny Devon, by Tea's Me. We are starting off with Mintea, come in and try it out and let us know what you think!    The perfect tea to have with one of our delicious hand made cakes!  More blends will be introduced over the coming months especially once the warm weather returns!!

Clive's Pies, gluten free available now!

Following feedback from our customers who prefer to eat gluten-free products, we have started stocking a small number of Clive's Pies, pies and cakes.  Clive's Pies is a vegetarian, organic bakery based in South Devon.  The pies we stock are also suitable for Vegans.  We hope you'll come in and try them if you need free from foods.  We are also stocking a small range of gluten free bread and rolls, the perfect accompaniment to our organic soups or jacket potatoes.  We try to support local food producers and suppliers whenever possible so were delighted to find this bakery so close to our doorstep.
