Nominated for the Nat West Venus Awards

We're so thrilled and excited that Sue Taylor has been nominated for a prestigious Nat West Venus Award in the New Media and Online Category.  The judges are currently shortlisting, and the semi finalists will be announed on the 4th September 2014.  The Venus Awards aim to recognise as many women in business as possible and have been running for five years in Devon.


We're keeping our fingers crossed that Sue makes it through to the final!

Coastal Scenes by Gary Holpin

We're thrilled to have some brilliant acrylic photographs by Gary Holpin in the Cafe for the next few weeks.  We spotted Gary's work on Twitter and loved the brilliant blue skies and coastal scenes that he captures on his South West coast path wanderings.  Pop in and enjoy them over a cup of coffee next time you are in Cowick Street!



Vacancy for a Cafe Assistant

We have a vacancy for a part time Cafe Assistant available to work between 12-20 hours a week, which will include some weekend working.  We're looking for a team player who is reliable, hardworking and efficient, who enjoys working in a busy, customer facing environment.

Duties include cooking, baking, stock control, cleaning, serving customers, operating the till and working at the front of house when required.
